Take each failure as feedback.
If we take failure personally, we close off the opportunity to learn and grow from it.
I fail all the time- and I use it as a springboard to assess where I could have done better, so that NEXT time, I can actually do better.
I failed miserably at setting myself up for a restful break. In fact, I did that all year long. Tons of failure leads to tons of feedback. So now I get to use that to pave the way for a better set up for the coming year.
You can use this method also. Assess all of your short comings and failures from the past 365 days and tease out the feedback. What’s to learn? What can be gained from these setbacks? And what do you know now that you didn’t know before?
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
