You’ve probably scrolled through (and maybe even clicked on) several posts that tell you how to avoid overeating halloween candy this year. That, or exactly how many burpees you need to do in order to “burn off” or “earn” the calories that you just consumed.
The reason you’re shoving Halloween candy in your face has nothing to do with having candy in your house this time of year- but rather, it has everything to do with how deprived you are every other day throughout the year.
First, do you REALLY think that all of your issues are coming from Halloween candy? Can we REALLY blame this all on one day? The logical answer is absolutely not. Yet, here we are- all freaking out about what to do with the extra chocolate and feeling super victorious when we’re able to throw it out.
But here’s the thing: when you’re not dieting anymore, you actually can have mountains of every type of candy in your house and still feel fairly indifferent about it. The answer, though, isn’t to call on more willpower. Nope- none of that.
The answer is to actually eat more candy. YEP! The antidote to not shoving your face with pounds of candy isn’t to be more strict or do more cardio- the answer is to eat more candy all year long.
Think I’m a crazy person? That’s fine. But tune into this episode to make sure that you’re equipped with all the knowledge you need to make empowered eating decisions not just on Halloween, but all year long.
